Hiring

The City Board has final say in the hiring of lifeguards for the Clarence Public Pool.

Lifeguards must be 15 years or older and have their lifeguard certification. The city will reimburse lifeguards for their certification if hired and brought a receipt.

Hours

Pool is open 1-8 each day (weather permitting)

*All children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult*

Pool Season

Pool season will open Saturday of Memorial Weekend. 

Pool season will close Sunday before South Shelby School starts back in session.

2026 Admission Pricing

Daily Individual- $6.00
5PM to 7PM- $4.00

Purchase at City Hall

6 Pack (6 for the price of 5): $30.00

Season Pass: $70.00

Punch Card (10 for the price of 8): $48.00

Swim Lessons 5 30-minute sessions $50.00 (contact Tamera Wilson to schedule 660-699-3310)

Pool Parties

Max 50 guests 2 hours $150.00 Pay at City Hall when booking

Parties 11AM to 1 PM or 8PM-10PM

Party must be paid at City Hall, and time will be before or after opening of pool.
